Head of School's Introduction
Welcome to Walpole Highway Primary School. We are a small rural primary school in West Norfolk with around 50 children on roll. We pride ourselves on being nurturing, warm and friendly to all. Our large field and forest school area offer a great place to learn, explore and investigate.
Our children are educated in two classes: Hedgehogs (years Reception, 1 and 2) and Owls (years 3,4,5 and 6). Our curriculum is carefully planned to accommodate the mixed-year groups. We work very closely with our Federation Schools to improve our curriculum, staff knowledge and offer a wider variety of experiences to our children.
Our children behave well, enjoy their learning and work hard in lessons. They play well together and support each other like ‘one big family’.
Ofsted (October 2022) noted that: Parents and carers are positive about the experience their children are getting. One parent typified the views of others, noting, ‘This is a very kind, caring and encouraging environment for children.’
We hope you enjoy looking through the pages of our website to explore our school community. We look forward to meeting you!
